Counting Down to Holiday Celebration at MCAS Miramar
We are turning your MCX Parking Lot into a nutcracker-themed for the holidays! Join us for our annual signature event, Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting, presented by ASAP Towing and sponsored by Jersey Mike's, SeaWorld, Toyota, Liberty Military Housing, ELPX Restaurant Group, FS8, F45, Universal Studios, San Diego Zoo, First Command, STEP, Mary Kay, USAA, and David Fletes Realty. This FREE family-friendly event is open to all authorized patrons.

Timeline:
2:00pm - Holiday Celebration Begins
2:00pm - 5:00pm: Get your photo with Santa and enjoy all of the events and activities at the Holiday Celebration! See below for all the event activities you can participate in throughout the event.
5:25pm - Santa arrives on the fire truck.
5:30pm - Tree Lighting
5:35pm - Prize winners announced.
5:45pm - FREE frozen turkey distribution
FREE Photos with Santa:
Get your photo taken with Santa and take home a FREE 4x6 keepsakes and social sharing. Santa will be available from 2:00-5:00pm for photos and will be located inside the MCX.
Event Activities:
- Carnival Rides - Our event will include a Ferris Wheel, Dragon Coaster, Round Up, and swings!
- Bounce Houses - We will have multiple bounce houses for kids of all ages!
- Train Rides - Hop on our trackless holiday-themed train.
- A Letters to Santa Station - Write a letter to Santa at our Letters to Santa station! Three letters will be selected at random, and these winners will be selected to win one of these 3 prizes: (4) Bikes, (4) Grand Canyon Railway Train Tickets*, and (4) San Diego Zoo Tickets!*
- Caricatures - FREE, fun caricatures made for you and your family for a memorable souvenir to take home!
- Balloon Artist - FREE balloons for kids and adults!
- Holiday Music with 3rd MAW Band - Listen to holiday music put you in the holiday spirit!
- Ballet Performance + Interactive Mini Class
- Food Trucks
- Tree Lighting Ceremony - Watch Santa ride in on a fire truck for the tree lighting and stay to light the tree!
