Extended DISC® is the most widely used behavioral assessment tool, measuring four behavioral styles: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance.

The Behaviors section of the DISC® report is designed to help team members attain a greater knowledge of themselves and of their colleagues. Effective interaction starts with an accurate perception of oneself. Recognizing strengths and gaps in oneself and others can be a catalyst for conversations around the behaviors we exhibit. Behaviors are neutral. How behaviors are perceived, acknowledged, and rewarded is not neutral. This training will allow the group to begin awareness of who is invited to the table, who is heard at the table, and whose voice is listened to most often in making decisions.

During this session, participants will:

  • Identify, understand and appreciate their individual behavior style.
  • Identify, understand and appreciate people who have different behavior styles.
  • Develop a process to communicate effectively with team members who have different behavior styles.
  • Explore how behavioral styles impact and how they inform the culture of the workplace.

Who should attend? Anyone who wants to better understand their own teamwork style via a behavioral assessment.

Open to all base patrons.
