For the first time ever, Semper Fit Hawaii is inviting a select number of civilians to take on the legendary Norwegian Foot March (Marsjmerket)—a true military endurance tradition recognized across NATO.
Originally created in 1915 to test the stamina and resilience of Norwegian soldiers, the march spans 18.6 miles (30km) while carrying a 24-pound ruck. Participants must complete the course under their required time limit to earn the prestigious Marsjmerket badge—a symbol of grit, discipline, and determination.
Whether you're looking to test your limits, honor a time-honored tradition, or earn a rare military badge as a civilian, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. 🎖️ Complete the march and earn a bronze, silver, or gold badge based on your achievements.
MILITARY: If you are a Military member and did not participate in the Bellows Rucksack Pre-Qualifier, you must register for the event and there will be a $15 fee.
Spots are extremely limited—secure yours now.
THIS RACE IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC!
Last day for public/civilian registration is Sunday, October 5, 2025. All civilians (with no base access) MUST register in DBIDS by Sunday, October 5, 2025 11:59 pm HST.
