2. Bring Identification
   Make sure you can provide the proper identification that verifies your eligibility for access to the library, such as a military ID card or dependent ID card.
    
3. Library Account
   Create an account in-person at your local library, or start using virtual library resources now at dodmwrlibraries.org.
   
   Already have an account? Search, reserve, and manage your account at milrec.bibliovation.com.
    
4. Ask Questions
   Don't hesitate to ask library staff if you have any questions about your account or available resources.

Borrowing Policy

• All materials borrowed from Marine Corps MWR General Libraries are for 3-week check outs.
   
• Unlimited Books
   
• DVDs Limit: 10 per family
   
• Audio Books Limit: 10 per family
   
• Playaways Limit: 2 per family
   
• Video Games Limit: 2 per family
   
• Library of Things/Boardgames/Equipment: Check with your local library for availability.
   
• Items may be renewed twice as long as an item has not been requested by another user. Please contact the library to renew or log into your account at milrec.bibliovation.com
   
• Sponsor is responsible for lost or damaged materials. Material replacements must be approved by the Library Director prior to purchase.

Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program is designed to promote a love of reading. This program encourages participants to set personal reading goals and track their progress over the summer.

The Summer Reading Program also combats the "summer slide" by providing opportunities for continued learning, exploration, and fun. There's something for every age group and interest, promoting literacy, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

Through a combination of reading challenges, themed activities, and special events, participants explore a diverse selection of books while earning incentives and rewards for their achievements. 

From Storytime sessions to author visits and creative workshops, the Summer Reading Program fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where readers can discover new worlds, expand their imaginations, and develop lifelong literacy skills.

Training & Development Resources for Marines

The Professional Military Education includes training and development on leadership, professional growth that incorporate the Marine Corps’ principles, ethics, and values.

Paperback Books for Deployed & Remote Marines

Through this program, service members can receive new paperback books, offering them opportunities for leisure reading and personal enrichment. These books cover various genres, interests, and topics, catering to diverse reading preferences.

The Paperback Books program increases the overall well-being and morale of deployed service members by offering them a source of entertainment, relaxation, and mental stimulation.

Volunteering
