Have fun and celebrate the creativity of the community with the GameCon Cosplay Contest! To help you prepare and have fun, please review the Participant Instructions below.

Contest is open to all ages.

Categories
Choose the category that best fits your costume (Superhero, Anime, Video Game Character, Sci-Fi)

Prizes
$150 MCX gift card for the winner in each category (four winners total).

Registration
Click the button below to download and complete the Registration Form. Email it to TNPSpecialEvents@usmc-mccs.org or return the printed form to the registration table by 12:45pm on 2 August, 2025. 

 

 

Costume Requirements

  • Your costume should be respectful and appropriate for all audiences

  • Must follow the current MCAGCC base dress code CCO-1020.11Z

  • Props and accessories are encouraged but must be safe and non-hazardous

  • Costumes should be your own work or clearly credited if inspired by others

  • Face masks may only be worn during presentation/judging

  • No real weapons are allowed

Presentation
You will have a moment in front of the judges to show off your costume. Feel free to strike a pose, do a short character-inspired gesture or use props to enhance your presentation. Confidence and creativity in embodying your character can earn extra points.

Judging Criteria
Judges will score costumes based on:

  • Creativity & Originality

  • Craftsmanship & Detail

  • Presentation & Performance

  • How well your costume fits the chosen category

  • Overall impact and memorability

Please be respectful to fellow participants and judges.


Free event, open to authorized base patrons. Closed gate event. By attending this event, you consent to have your photo/video taken by official event photographers. No DoD or USMC endorsement implied.
