Kids Turkey Trot

Hey kids! Join us for a pre-Thanksgiving 1-mile Turkey Trot and receive a custom Turkey Trot t-shirt! Make your run extra fun and come dressed up in your favorite Turkey or Festive Thanksgiving attire!

REGISTRATION

• Online pre-registration recommended.
• Online registration opens Oct 3rd at 9am.
• Online registration closes Nov 15th at midnight.
• Day-of accepted if space available - sign up early!

WHO
Kids Turkey Trot is open to everyone with the following stipulations:
Those without base access must arrange to be escorted in on race morning by an authorized base patron (friends/family).
Please do not register for the run unless this requirement has been coordinated. Patrons who do not make arrangements to enter Camp Pendleton will be turned away and no refund will be issued.

9:00am  Run Start
9:45am  Course Cut-Off Time
10:00am Venue Closes

GOODY BAG
All participants will receive a "Grab 'n Go" goody bag at the finish line filled with sponsor and Semper Fit giveaway items, as well as hydration and nutrition items.

DIRECTIONS
Main Gate entrance
I-5 Northbound: Take the Camp Pendleton exit.
I-5 Southbound: Take the Camp Pendleton/Harbor Drive exit and turn left.
Enter the main gate and continue on Vandegrift for approximately 10 miles. 
The 11 Area Field will be on your left next to Paige Field House Gym. 
Turn left at 13th Street to access the Paige Field House parking lot.

San Luis Rey Gate
Enter the Gate and proceed approximately 3 miles on Vandegrift.
The 11 Area Field will be on your right just past the Paige Field House Gym. 
However, turn right at 13th Street to access the Paige Field House parking lot.

RULES

• 4-12 age limit.
• Event is held rain or shine (unless deemed unsafe).
• Pendleton Races has the right to modify the course if necessary for safety or Parade Deck ceremonies.
• Course closes at 9:45am.
• This is a non-timed event with no awards – run for fun!
• NOTE: Unless you feel it is necessary to escort/run with your child, we are excited to offer your kids their own run to promote independence, fitness, and fun!
